Challenges and Opportunities of the Consumer Driven Semiconductor Cycle

Abstract:

Moore's law continues to thrive through the first decade of the new millennium, keeping the core driver of the semiconductor business strong. However, the need to integrate “super systems-on-a-chip” for enabling the “any content, any time, any where” value proposition expected for next-generation consumer products forces a new set of challenges on the chip development community. The ability to understand and overcome these new challenges will determine the winners and loser in the consumer driven wave of the semiconductor cycle.
